Samsung Galaxy A6+ (2018) Full Review
Build Quality
Samsung Galaxy A6+ (2018) has a good all metal build quality. Though the design of the phone is quit disappointing. It almost look like the same Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro . This is not J series phone, than why Samsung impliment this design in A Series Phone? That's a very valid question to ask.
The back is metal & the front has a 6.0 inch display. On the back you will see dual camera with LED flash & below that a fingerprint sensor. There is a Samsung Brand logo on middle. On the bottom you will find a USB 2.0 Port & a 3.5 mm headphone jack. On the right there is a power switch & speaker. On the Left there is volume key,1 sim card slot & 1sim + microSD card slot.
Display
Samsung Galaxy A6+ (2018) has a 6.0 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen FHD+ Display. It is a Amoled panel so it looks very good. But don't expect like S8 or S9 Display.
The Bezel & chin of top & bottom are not very thin & no way it looks like infinity display.
Hardware & Software
Samsung Galaxy A6+ (2018) has a very poor hardware if I compare it with other same price Smartphones. It has Qualcomm SDM450 Snapdragon 450 which clock speed is Octa-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 & Adreno 506 GPU. The Snapdragon 450 is not a very bad chipset but Company like Xiaomi or Honor offer this chipset in 8000 rupee(NOTE 5) or 10000 rupee (HONOR 7C) Device.
The earlier A6 has Exynos 7870 chipset (almost same as Snapdragon 625) which is a 6 series chipest but now what happend to them that they moved to lower processor.Even though they are charging a lot.
I am not saying that Qualcomm SDM450 Snapdragon 450 is a bad processor. In regular uses you will not find any lag. But you cannot open a lots of apps at a time & cannot play Higher Graphic games.
So gamers you should stay out of this phone.
On the Software section the Samsung experienced UI is a top heavy UI. But I don't face any problem with its performance. It also comes with Android 8.0 Oreo.
Camera & Video
If Samsung Galaxy A6+ (2018) has done good in any section than it should be its camera. The dual 16+5 MP camera can take great photo in day light condition. Even the portrait mode picture is also done very well. The front 24 MP camera is also very good & I think this is one of the best camera based phone in this price range. The low light or night time photo is not so good due to the lack of OIS & EIS.
Now talk about its video quality. Again Samsung disappointed us. They don't give 4K, even they don't allow 1080p at 60 fps , although the chipset support 1080p 60 fps. The quality of the video is average & due to the lack of EIS the video has a lot of shakiness.
Storage & Battery Backup
Samsung Galaxy A6+ (2018) has 3 GB Ram with 32 GB Rom & 4 GB Ram with 64 GB Rom with an external microSd slot. So In storage section they had done very well.
The phone has a Non-removable Li-Po 3500 mAh battery which is actually done very good. With a single time charging it can survive for at least 1 and half day easily.

Samsung Galaxy A6+ (2018) Pros
- Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen FHD+ Display
- Excellent Camera in front & Back.
- Fingerprint & Face UNLOCK option.
- No Storage issue
- All the sensors are included
- Great Battery backup
Samsung Galaxy A6+ (2018) Cons
- Design is old
- Poor Processor
- Still Using USB 2.0 in 2018
- No Fast Charging
- No Water & Dust resistance .
- Poor Video recording
- Speaker in weird position
Moreover I can say this device charge 26000 rupee(35000 Taka) which is actually over pricing.
So if anyone want a phone only for Regular or casual stuff & clicking photos than I will recommend this. But If you want to have more features with powerfull processor than I am not going to say, buy this. There are more good phones than this.
