Samsung Galaxy A9 Star is a new phone from the company called Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Star will come after the great successor of their previous A series Smartphones.

Samsung will launch this phone in the end of june 2018 at China.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Star top Specification

1. 6.28 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 2.5D curved FHD+ Display (1080 x  2220pixels, 19:9 ratio ,~320 ppi density).
2. Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 660 processor which clock speed is Octa-core  (4x2.2 GHz Kryo 260 & 4x1.8 GHz Kryo 260) & Adreno 512 GPU.
3. 4GB Ram & 64 GB Rom with Hybrid sim slot  & dedicated MicroSd card slot.
4.  Dual 24 MP (f/1.7) + 16 MP (f/1.7) Camera with LED flash on the back & 24 MP (f/2.0) selfie Camera .
5. The Rear Camera may have no AI Portrait & beauty features but phase detection autofocus (PDAF ) & HDR Mode will be there. The phone have no OIS & EIS feature too.
6. Non-removable Li-Po 3700 mAh battery.
7. All the sensors including gyroscope is there & NFC supported.
8. On the bottom there is 3.5mm headphone jack & USB Type C PORT (OTG supported).
9. Samsung Experience 9.0 UX UI based on Android 8.1 (Oreo).
10. Fingerprint senor & FaceUnlock feature is also available.

Our Initial Review on Samsung Galaxy A9 star

Hello Everyone.

We know that Samsung A series is quite popular & it is a mid range category smartphone. Now when we saw the specification , we felt that Samsung will now launch a great phone with great spec in a good price range. But again we are disappointed. According to some sources we found that the device will be launched at a price around 400 $ . Now again in this price range the rival of the handset will be One Plus 5T / 6 & MI 8 . Now the problem is Samsung Galaxy A9 Star has Qualcomm SDM660 processor which is a 6 series chipset. Snapdragon 660 is a great mid range processor & it will do almost all the work or play high graphics games very well. But the problem is , the other same price range phone has 8 series chipset which are more powerful than the 6 series chipset .

If we talk about the camera than it spec looks quite good but still the company has not include OIS & EIS in the Back camera section. Although this is a good news that 4K will be available but the disappointment will be still you cannot shoot at 60fps in 1080p. The camera section is still poor if we compare it with its Competitor.

We have no information about its IP water & dust resistance feature but we hope they will give it.

But still we hope that Samsung will think about their fans & do a aggressive pricing so that more & more people can buy it.

When the phone will be launched, we will definitely review it.
